What makes our Donkey tajine special is ...the beautiful design on the outside and inside. A Tajine, an authentic cookware originating from North Africa, is specifically designed for crafting delectable stews. Crafted from heat-absorbing ceramic, it gently and consistently distributes heat, retaining it for an extended duration. Its unique conical lid ensures that steam primarily condenses and returns to the pot, minimizing the need for additional water. For effective steam control, simply adjust the lid by inserting a fork between the pot and the cover. The Tajine is compatible with various cooking sources, including gas stoves (on low heat), electric stovetops, most charcoal grills, and outdoor wood fires. Before its initial use, it’s advisable to soak the Tajine in cold water for several hours. After each use, ensure thorough drying, preferably in a warm oven to prevent mold. Avoid exposing the cookware to extreme temperature changes, as it may risk cracking. To ensure the longevity and beauty of your bowls, we recommend handwashing your bowls with mild soap and warm water.
